Netflix’s upcoming documentary covers “The Rise and Fall of AND1,” part of its “Untold” sports documentary series.
Complementing the Untold sports documentary series, Netflix has now released the official trailer for Untold: The Rise and Fall of AND1. An upcoming documentary documents how Jay Coen Gilbert, Seth Berger and Tom Austin’s graduate program partnership at Penn’s Wharton School transformed into a major basketball shoe and apparel company.
Focusing on the famous AND1 Mixtape and accompanying AND1 Mixtape Tour, Untold: The Rise and Fall of AND1 features interviews with famous AND1 buskers such as “The Professor”, “Hot Sauce”, “Main Event”, “Shane the Dribbling Machine” and Rafer “Skip 2 My Floor” Alston. The documentary, directed by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Kevin Wilson Jr., outlines how the brand exploded on the scene and quickly fell when it was successful.
