The event turned into a star-studded extravaganza as it hosted several notable guests including Jaden Smith, Emma Chamberlain, Nina Dobrev, Ava DuVernay.
Smollett showed up and attended the festivities, looking effortlessly in a black tank top. The double-breasted style features wide lapels, silhouetted with silver sequins and a pointed hem. She wore light pieces with a white crop top and baggy pants.
The “Lovecraft Country” actress parted her hair and styled it. She paired it with simple ear studs and carried a white square handbag.
Smollett completes the stylish ensemble with black sandals. The leather silhouette features wide straps at the toe and sits on the pointed heel. Lace-up sandals are definitely making a splash and continue to steal the show this year. The sultry style has many celebrities giving up the comfort of their opponents. The iconic staggered straps go from barely-there to minimal, and the lace-up sandal is clearly a summer-proven shoe.
