Thor: Love and Thunder has officially become the lowest-rated film in the standalone Thor franchise on Rotten Tomatoes. Now with a critic rating of just 65%, Taika Waititi and Chris Hemsworth’s latest Marvel Studios film has fallen below the 66% received by Thor: The Dark World, dropping it to the bottom of the movie list Thor.
By that score, it also makes Love and Thunder the second-lowest-rated movie ever at Marvel Studios, just ahead of The Eternals, which scored a disappointing 47 percent and remains the The only certified bad title in the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe library.
Even more surprising is Waititi’s success in franchising. Making its MCU debut with Thor: Ragnarok, the film has a whopping 93% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and continues to be credited as the most similar to Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame so far. One of the best Marvel movies made together.
Thor: Love and Thunder is now in theaters.
