It’s a sad day in the Kardashian universe as Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson call it quits. The 41-year-old reality star and 28-year-old comedian split earlier “this week,” a source close to Kim confirmed to HollywoodLife. The split also comes two weeks after the mum-of-four visited Pitt in Australia, who is filming a new movie with Orlando Bloom and appears to be staying for at least a few more weeks.
Kim has yet to respond to the split on social media, but she did share a sweet photo on Twitter with her eldest daughter Chicago, 4. She hugged Chi, who was wearing a black leather skirt. Curiously, both outfits are from Kanye West’s Yeezy collection. “YR 3022 YEEZY SHDZ,” the title reads, seemingly referencing the collection and style.
Pete and Kim first struck up a romantic relationship last October when the SKIMS founder hosted his first host on Saturday Night Live. Since they shared that adorable kiss onscreen as Princess Jasmine and Aladdin, the romance has been translated offscreen, and they’ve taken their romance around the world. The two seemed to get serious quickly, taking a romantic trip to the Bahamas just a month into their relationship. Their friends and family also seem to think they’re a good fit for each other, and mom Kris Jenner even helped celebrate his birthday last November!

“Kim almost forgot how to have fun with Kanye. Pete is humbling her and she’s learning humility from him,” the source shared exclusively with HollywoodLife. “Her family had never seen this side of her before, but they were so happy she was so happy.” Our source added: “Kim and Pete had a great time together and she feels more than ever. Happier. Pete allowed Kim to be herself and she didn’t feel like she had to perform for anyone.”

Pitt is also serious about making his relationship with Kim work. “He’s tempering the relationship differently because he’s noticing that it’s actually the most important relationship he’s ever had,” an insider close to the Saturday Night Live actor told HollywoodLife exclusively. “In Pitt’s eyes, this relationship with Kim has many benefits, and he refuses to screw it up,” they added.
Shortly after the two officially started their relationship on Instagram, Pete added some ink dedicated to the SKKN founder to his tattoo collection. He appears to have gotten an anagram reading KNSCP for her children North 9, Saint 6, Chicago 4, and Psalm 3. Regarding her legal research, he also got an anagram that reads “My girl is a lawyer” as well as the actual brand reads “Kim”.
Unfortunately, things didn’t work out that way. The couple had quite a few obstacles working against them throughout their relationship. Kim’s ex-husband Kanye West certainly isn’t making things easy for them. He has been insulting the SNL actor on social media and in lyrics. His threats reached the point where Kim expressed concern for Pitt’s safety, and Ye inevitably leaked to his Instagram.
