Melissa, 43, and her husband (who is also Teresa’s only sibling) Joe Gorga, 42, skipped Teresa’s weekend wedding from August 5-7 The festivities sparked rumors. According to PEOPLE, Teresa and Louis Ruras tied the knot on Saturday, Aug. 6 at Park Castle Estate and Gardens in East Brunswick, NJ, with 220 guests in attendance.
The cast of RHONJ includes Margaret Josephs, Dolores Catania and Jennifer Aydin. Teresa’s daughter and ex-husbands Joe Judith (20), Gabriela (17), Milania (15) and Audriana (12) were also reportedly in attendance. There were no unpleasant feelings between the ex-couple, and Joe reportedly even claimed his ex-wife looked “like a princess” on the magical day, according to Us Weekly.
But unfortunately, there does appear to be a bad relationship between Teresa, her brother and sister-in-law. According to Us Weekly, they broke down a “laundry list” of why they snubbed the high-profile event on Melissa’s Aug. 11 episode of the On Display podcast. They were reportedly invited.
On the podcast, the couple revealed that “something happened” during the filming of the season 12 ‘RHONJ reunion’ and that they believed something was Teresa’s fault – but they declined to elaborate further. “Those exact details, I obviously can’t say today,” Melissa said. “Anything we shoot is something I can’t talk about.”
Melissa also admitted that more of the “drama” of the trio is in the well-known form. “I’m not going to sit here and say there’s no drama, no madness,” she explained. “Yes, some people are a little aggressive and can be a little scary. There must have been moments.” Ultimately, they thought it would be “very weird” to show up at the wedding following the unnamed events of RHONJ’s reunion.
