The Batman 2 script is reportedly in the works with Matt Reeves, who also wrote and directed the first script for the Robert Pattinson-Batman era.
Just earlier this week, it was reported that Batman 2 has yet to be confirmed. However, in a recent interview with Deadline, Matt Reeves revealed that a sequel is in the works.
The publication reports that Reeves has signed a multi-year premiere film deal with Warner Bros. Under the new deal, it has been revealed that Reeves has begun writing the second Batman film directed by Robert Pattinson. Pattinson will return as the titular character. Reeves will also write the screenplay with Mattson Tomlin, the unsung writer on the first film.
Discussing his new deal with Deadline, Reeves said: “It’s a dream to make this legendary studio my home. I’m excited to be working with Mike, Pam and Channing and our team to bring what I truly love to glamorous The story is brought to the big and small screens.” Reeves is also working with Colin Farrell on a Batman spin-off series called The Penguin.
