Gwen Stefani, in a pretty pink outfit, posted on Instagram Friday by NBC’s “The Voice” to promote the show’s upcoming season 22 premiere.

The slideshow video shows the latest professional avatars from the coaches, set to a remix of the viral Missy Elliot “Get Ur Freak On”. The “Rich Girl” singer wore a long-sleeved bubblegum pink latex miniskirt with a light pink fishnet bodysuit. She finished the look with white knee-high boots, which added a funky touch to the outfit.

In the 60s, white knee-high boots became a fashion trend. Stefani gave them a modern twist, upgrading the go-go style with stilettos. Knee-high boots are often paired with skirts, in this case miniskirts, and this style is a smart choice for colder seasons, while still allowing the wearer to show some of their legs. The top of Stefani’s boot is angled to the higher edge at the back of the knee and lowers the collar at the front.

Stefani also shared a behind-the-scenes look at the Monday, August 8 promotional photo that made fun of new “The Voice” coach Camila Cabello.

Stefani was pictured leaning against her husband and coach Blake Shelton, who opted for his signature country-casual attire. Sheldon wore a baggy navy blue blazer over a light blue shirt that was left open. Shelton paired the top with faded mid-wash denim over rustic brown western boots. His attire is a stark contrast to Stefani’s contemporary pop girl fashion.

Cabello and returning coach John Legend brought more colorful outfits to the sale: Cabello wore a bold all-red business fit, and Legend wore sleek bright orange trousers with a silky teal button-down shirt.
