“Euphoria” star Sydney Sweeney practiced bull riding at her mother’s western-themed surprise hoe birthday party on Saturday. Hoe saw Sweeney in a baby doll dress and western boots.
Channeling her best Cowgirl, Sweeney’s dress is a crew neck and wide flared sleeves. The waist of the dress is gathered up by a brown belt which gives some shape to the dress. The “Handmade Tales” actress wore a white turban around her neck to match her slightly oversized cowboy hat.

In addition to these Western flair, the Miu Miu campaign star also wore white platform cowboy boots that matched her accessories perfectly. The raised heel allowed Sweeney to raise her height while remaining comfortable, allowing her to square dance until the cows came home.
While these boots are a more modern interpretation of the iconic style, there are certain elements of the shoe that are reminiscent of the original. The cowboy boot is a rustic American silhouette marked by a pointed toe and a high, stacked leather heel. Mostly, cowboy boots are made of leather with a shaft that extends almost to the mid-calf of the wearer. Boots in this style often feature artistic inlays and overlays as decorative features over the body and upper.
True to their name, cowboy boots were first popularized by Western ranchers in the 1860s, with a sturdy construction that could withstand the daily grind of horseback riding and ranching better than the standard shoes of the day. Although the style is still associated with the West, it was frequently in and out of fashion throughout the 1900s and the modern era.
Sweeney’s shoe styles range from trendy to sporty. The “White Lotus” actress can often be seen wearing lace-up sandals and pointed-toe heels, embellished with whimsical bows, crystals or PVC details.
