McDonald’s is offering some lucky winners a warm treat in the fall. The multinational fast food chain has teamed up with Ugg to launch Nuggies, a soft bootie inspired by chicken nuggets.
McDonald’s introduced the new shoes in a video on Instagram. The collaboration comes a few months after the Southern California-based brand released its 2022 Pride collection.

The new statement shoe is like a pair of Ugg boots, just with a rumpled texture reminiscent of a fan-favorite crispy fried snack. These versatile boots feature the Australian brand’s soft sheepskin leather and a durable design. Incorporates a durable, lightweight sole for added cushioning and traction. The shoe also features overlock detailing at the seams, a suede heel and a leather heel tab, and the Nuggies and McDonald’s signature logos are printed on the back.
To make this fast-fashion accessory even more iconic, the Ugg boots will replace the typical shoebox with a giant replica of McDonald’s iconic sweet and sour sauce packets, delivered to your door in a fresh and hot way. The Nuggies, the second chicken shoe released by KFC after the Crocs clogs in 2020, quickly sold out due to their unique design and wild appeal that looked and smelled like chicken legs.
