On September 10, in Aberdeen, Scotland, Princess Eugenie arrived at Balmoral Castle to deliver flowers and a eulogy for the recently deceased Queen Elizabeth II.
The princess swapped traditional trousers for a skirt. She is wearing a black Reiss blazer with wide lapels and pleats at the back. The British brand’s garments also feature metallic gold buttons on the bodice and cuffs.
The royals wore black satin shirts and jackets with knee-length pleated skirts. She simply paired it with small hoop earrings and a thin necklace. She swept some of her hair aside and pinned it back.
The princess completed her look in a sheer bodysuit and a pair of black pointed-toe pumps. The silhouette has slender, triangular pointed toes and sits on a 4-inch stiletto heel. Thanks to their durable construction, dark pointed-toe pumps remain a versatile and timeless shoe for somber occasions.
Buckingham Palace said the Queen’s state funeral will take place at 11am on September 19. The Queen will remain in Westminster Hall for four days for the public to pay their respects. The Queen’s coffin will travel from Balmoral Castle to Edinburgh tomorrow to the Palace of Holyroodhouse, where it will be parked until the afternoon of September 12.
