Carrie Underwood had a fairytale princess moment at the CMT Giants: Vince Gill event in Nashville on Monday night in honor of her namesake singer-songwriter.
On the occasion, the “American Idol” winner dazzled the red carpet in a spring green midi dress by Monique Lhuillier. The tulle number features a bold heart neckline and tiered skirt with sheer bow sleeves. The number gets more elegance from the metallic gold star accents throughout, as if Underwood were sprinkled with glitter. Shiny diamond-set gold bracelets, rings and drop earrings complete her look.
In terms of footwear, Underwood opted to pair the metallic hue of her dress with a set of gold heels. Her sparkly style features a mirrored upper, triangular toe, and closed counter. Although the set’s stilettos aren’t visible, they were likely done with a set of 3-4-inch stilettos, given Underwood’s preference for similar silhouettes on the red carpet over the years.
CMT Giants: The Vince Gill event honoring performer Vince Gill, held at the Fisher Center for the Performing Arts in Nashville. To that end, many country residents attended the event, including Maren Morris, Chris Stapleton and Sheryl Crow. Gill himself was honored with performances by Underwood, Sting, Brad Paisley and more musicians that night.
