“Ant-Man and the Wasp 2” screenwriter Jeff Lovenes will write the script for “Avengers: Kang Dynasty,” and the upcoming film will premiere in 2025.
Jeff Loveness, author of the upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantum Mania and former screenwriter of Rick and Morty, will reportedly write the script for Avengers: Kang Dynasty .
Marvel didn’t comment, but Deadline reports that Loveness will be on the project alongside new Shang-Chi and Legend of the Ten Rings director Destin Daniel Cretton, as well as producer/Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige. While plot details have yet to be announced, it was earlier confirmed that Jonathan Majors will play the new supervillain Kang the Conqueror, who first appeared at the end of Loki’s first season and will play a bigger role in Ant-Man and the Wasp The role: Quantum Mania.
Avengers: Kang Dynasty will mark the fifth installment in the Avengers franchise and will end the sixth phase of the MCU with Avengers: Secret War, which will premiere six months later.
Avengers: Kang Dynasty will be released on May 2, 2025.
