Kylie Jenner just proved there’s more than one way to put on lipstick. The billionaire beauty entrepreneur was on the cover of the CR Fashion Book, and the look couldn’t be more appropriate. Jenner’s CR Fashion Book Cover Story relives and celebrates some of her best beauty moments of the past decade.
The youngest child of the Kardashian-Jenner family was photographed in the magazine’s “Issue 21” wearing a Lauren DeWitt top made of her own Kylie Cosmetics lipstick. This custom piece comes in a range of lip colors and is held together with a silver metal sling chain. She completed the look with a leather skirt from DSquared2, Messika and Givenchy earrings, and pulled her hair into a chic updo.
In another photo, the reality star wore a brown leather jacket with bold sequin detailing near the sleeves for a predominantly grunge glam vibe. She draped the coat over her shoulders to show off the sheer black top she wore underneath. Jenner completed the look in chunky studded combat boots.
Other photos Jenner took were equally creative, as she posed in a Marc Jacobs jacket, top, and dramatic floor-length skirt, channeling a mermaid. Each piece is screen-printed with the makeup mogul’s iconic image. She parted her hair to one side in long, shiny waves.
At the end, media figures in shiny dresses lie on the transparent floor. The sheer dress features white lace detailing on the bodice and red lace hem. Jenner tied the outfit together with a pair of bare slingback heels. The shoe features an elongated pointed toe and a curved wedge heel.
In an accompanying interview, Jenner talks about her burgeoning career, sharing her legacy with her 4-year-old daughter Stormy Webster, and what her fans are saying about Hulu’s season 2 “Kardashian” sisters” expectations.
“It definitely showcases an exciting time in my life — the second season is focused on my return to life and work after having a baby. I’m excited to share that journey with the audience,” Jenner explained.
