MiHoYo and Ufotable are developing the “Genshin Impact” anime, billed as a “long-term project”.
Game developer miHoYo and animation studio Ufotable are collaborating on the Genshin Impact animation.
The two companies recently released a concept trailer teasing the adaptation’s art style, which is very similar to the original game, which actually took inspiration from the anime. No release date has been announced, but a concept trailer hints that the collaboration is a “long-term project,” which hopefully means the anime will be released over several seasons.
In addition to the animation’s announcement, miHoYo also announced Genshin Impact’s 3.1 update, which will include Sumeru’s expansion to support the game’s main storyline, while introducing King Deshret’s tomb, dungeons, new Archon quests, more weapons, Three playable characters and two new bosses – all of which will be available on September 28.
Check out the concept trailer above and stay tuned for more updates.
