Dave Bautista answers the first ‘knock on the door’ in the latest M. Night Shyamalan horror trailer, do you choose to answer the door or not?
Universal Pictures has released the first official trailer for the upcoming highly anticipated M. Night Shyamalan mystery horror film Knock on the Shack. This apocalyptic thriller is based on Paul Tremblay’s bestselling novel, The Cabin at the End of the World.
The trailer gives viewers a brief look at what to expect, revealing tiny details that begin when they’re introduced to a cabin in the middle of the woods. Cut off from the rest of the world, a family of two fathers and their daughter decide to take a vacation away from civilization together. Father Andrew and Eric, played by Jonathan Groff and Ben Aldridge, don’t waste time jumping into the lake with their daughter. Hoping for a moment of sobriety and relaxation, the family’s peaceful journey is interrupted by a group of strangers who show up knocking on the cabin door.
Strangers interrupt the family’s vacation, barge in and retrain them, then tell the two fathers that they’ve been chosen to make a very important decision that will change the course of the impending doomsday. To prevent the end of the world, one family member needs to be killed by another family member, and it is up to the family to decide who will be the dead.
