There’s no denying that Los Angeles-based designer Melody Ehsani is a creative force to be reckoned with. Her electric Air Jordan 1 Mid is arguably the most sought-after women’s shoe of 2019. The Melody Ehsani brand has collaborated with well-known brands such as Nike, Foot Locker, Reebok and Jordan in the past based on the principles of uplifting and empowering women through design. Today, Ehsani teases a new passion project between her iconic brand and Jumpman: a detailed and quirky take on the Air Jordan 36 PE.
The Melody Ehsani x Air Jordan 36 PE is covered in a variety of colorful snakeskin graphics. Indigo, teal, emerald and yellow make up the sneaker’s color palette, complemented by gold accents. Zigzag textured outsole with hamsa at center. As a symbol of faith and protection, the hamsa or “hand of God” is used primarily by members of the Jewish faith in arts and amulets. “On the shoulders of great men” is written on the inside of the sole, paying tribute to our ancestors and paving the way for our success.
