Sydney Sweeney got athletic on Friday against the Boston Red Sox.
The “Euphoria” actress took a temporary break from acting to become the pitcher of the day. Sweeney had the honor of making his first ceremonial pitch at Boston’s Fenway Park on July 23 ahead of the Toronto Blue Jays-Boston Red Sox game. The actress also ate a obligatory hot dog and posed for a photo with the fluffy green Red Sox mascot before heading to the stands to enjoy the game from above.
With a big smile on his face, Sweeney threw a solid pitch in midfield while wearing a cropped white and red Red Sox jersey. Sweeney paired the jersey with high-waisted shorts in a light wash, with a distressed thin-line hem, and a red “B” embroidered on the corner of the denim shorts. Sweeney wore white and red Golden Goose low-top sneakers, each featuring a classic star on the side. The actress, of course, dressed for the role, managing a super stylish ensemble rocking Red Sox colors in the process.
When Sweeney isn’t performing “The Handmade Story,” the star can be found collaborating with some of the biggest names in fashion. The actress’ most recent collaboration is with Prada’s sister label Miu Miu, who has teamed up with famous faces like Emily Ratajkowski and Demi Singleton in her “Character Studies” collection. The newly launched “Miu Miu Girl” recites poetry and poses for a set of images, wearing a crystal two-piece and a long black winter coat with a black leather Miu Miu clutch and Sweeney’s mannequin-like attitude. The campaign is about solidarity and finding common ground in the community, while also emphasizing the individuality of each star. Sweeney and Miu Miu are a match made in heaven.
