Christina Aguilera takes Spain by storm with futuristic fashion.
The “Lady Marmalade” songstress took ownership of the stage for the Starlite Festival in Marbella on July 25, raving the crowd with her strong stage presence and costumes. Aguilera is gearing up for a brief tour from late July to early August, where her music career has taken her to the UK and Monaco.
The singer donned a metal armor bodysuit for her performance, which was expressive and shiny, especially under the bright stage lights. The suit is lace-up, bodice and a sculpted bodice, with part of the bodice sticking out for a more dramatic effect.
The bodysuit features prominent hip pads to amplify Aguilera’s pose, giving her the robotic quality this piece is meant to convey. The singer wore a black mesh long-sleeve shirt under the silver suit for added coverage, reflecting the style on her legs with black fishnets. Aguilera wore vinyl black calf pants with a flared hem, and the sudo pants added another fun textured element to the outfit.
Aguilera’s outfits were designed to stand out, prompting the singer to experiment with new silhouettes to explore. Despite Aguilera’s penchant for unusually intricate clothing, the futuristic silver suit was definitely different.
