Kevin Feige confirms Spider-Man and Daredevil will help expand Marvel’s “street” superheroes, with Tom Holland and Charlie Cox and more to come.
Fans of Tom Holland and Charlie Cox will be delighted to learn that there’s still a lot to look forward to from these two actors in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After confirming an all-new series for Cox’s Daredevil at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige has revealed that both Hell’s Kitchen demons and Holland’s beloved Spider-Man will be joining the MCU’s upcoming “Street” series. “Superheroes, hopefully more to come. “With the announcement of Daredevil, we’ve entered the streets, and of course, Spider-Man has entered the street hero,” Feige told MTV’s Josh Horowitz.
Holland and Cox aside, rumors of “Grey Man” star Ryan Gosling joining the multiverse seem to be coming true soon. When asked about the actor, Feige noted the actor’s huge popularity and said “Gosling is incredible” before the lights suddenly went out. “Boy, bad omen!” he continued. “Look, Ryan doesn’t want us to talk about it. But Ryan is great and I’d love to have a place for him in the MCU. He’s dressed up as Ken on Venice Beach, and he’s got more news outlets than the giant movies that come out .Wonderful!”
Unfortunately, there’s no word yet on when the friendly Dutch neighbor Spider-Man will make an on-screen appearance, but Daredevil is coming to Disney+ in the spring of 2024.
