Leslie Grace Responds to Warner Bros. Cancellation of ‘Batgirl,’ Seven Months in Production
Leslie Grace has finally responded to Warner Bros.’ recent announcement that Batgirl will not be released. The actress shared on Instagram several behind-the-scenes pictures and videos of the making of the film, which ran for seven months in Scotland and had a budget of $90 million. “Family Querida! After the recent news about our film Batgirl, I’ve given all of our incredible cast and tireless crew what I paid for this film in Scotland over 7 months Proud of love, hard work and intention,” Grace wrote in the caption.
“I’ve been fortunate enough to work between absolute greats and have a lifelong relationship in the process! To every Batgirl fan – thank you for the love and faith that has allowed me to put on my cape and become, as As Babs said, “My own damn hero! “Batgirl for Life!”
Unfortunately, while the movie won’t be in theaters, it doesn’t appear to be coming to HBO Max either, so those hoping to see what’s made may have to expect another #RestoretheSnyderverse-like movement.
