Guillermo del Toro shares a first look at his upcoming horror anthology series, Cabinet of Curiosity, which debuts on Netflix this Halloween.

The eight-part series, which will include two original stories from del Toro himself, will debut on October 25 with a four-day, two-episode Netflix & Chills Halloween special. The series promises to “challenge our traditional notions of horror” and promises to “go from scary to magical, gothic to grotesque or classic creepy”, with a cast of Rupert Grint, Andrew Lincoln, Crispin Glover, Eric Andre and more starred across eight episodes.

“Through the Cabinet of Curiosity, we set out to show the reality that exists outside of our normal world: anomalies and curiosity. We have carefully selected and curated a set of stories and storytellers to deliver those stories, whether they come from outer space, supernatural lore , or just in our minds,” del Toro. “Just in time for Halloween, each of these eight stories is a fantastic glimpse into the joy cabinet that exists beneath the reality of our lives.”
