Avatar has announced its return to theaters with a new trailer, ahead of the sequel’s premiere.
Following the release of the first trailer for “Avatar: The Way of Water” earlier this year, the series has now announced that its 2009 “Avatar” original will return to theaters in “4K High Dynamic Range.” Thirteen years since its original release, Fox is giving fans a much-needed refresher on “Avatar” months before the highly anticipated sequel’s December release.
Written and directed by legendary filmmaker James Cameron, Avatar was nominated for nine Academy Awards and holds the standing record for the highest-grossing film of all time. Most of the main cast, including Sam Worthington, Michelle Rodriguez, Zoe Saldana and Stephen Lang, are expected to return for the sequel.
