Latto was full of energy tonight at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. The “Big Energy” rapper was one of the star-studded hosts at the annual awards show.
Latto made quite the statement on the black carpet, wearing a neon green mini blazer by Ludo Bokuchava. The wardrobe staple is far from traditional and simple, as it includes a plunging neckline, cutouts on the bodice, and lace detailing in the center. The dress also has a small skirt and side slant pockets.
To further elevate the moment, the 23-year-old artist wore sparkly oversized earrings and a round gold clutch. Lato brushed her hair into a bun, allowing two strands to frame her face. For makeup, she opted for neutral glamour and a soft matte pout.
Speaking of shoes, the musician donned a pair of neon green mules. Contouring is the perfect touch to her look. The shoe is styled with a square open toe and a triangular block heel.
The 2022 MTV Video Music Awards will take place on August 28 at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ, hosted by Nicki Minaj Jack Harlow and LL Cool J. Minaj will receive the event’s Pioneer Award for his contributions to the music industry, while the Red Hot Chili Peppers will receive the Global Icon Award. The 2022 awards will also include Blackpink, Anitta, Panic! At the disco, Lizzo and Maneskin. This year’s nominations were led by Harlow, Harry Styles and Doja Cat with eight nominations each.
