Jennifer Lopez takes a big step forward in Coach’s fall 2022 campaign.

Posing for the camera of Tyler Mitchell, the “Love Don’t Cost A Thing” singer wore a black leather coat and matching button-up skirt with a graphic black T-shirt at the event. Her edgy look – drawing on creative director Stuart Vevers’ American influence and the brand’s longstanding focus on leather – complements the brand’s latest handbag, the Bandit, a sharp, rectangular leather cross-body bag in vibrant red Toned ‘C’ shaped gold-tone buckle.

Completing the newlywed star’s outfit was a set of high-heeled Kyle sandals that were also part of Coach’s Fall 2022 collection. This $250 style features a slip-on style with two wide top straps, each with a thin, adjustable buckle. The set gets a stylish twist from 3.5-inch stilettos and a square toe with a “Coach” nameplate on the front. Together with Lopez’s leather suit, the suit creates a monochromatic look that is both edgy and sophisticated.

However, that wasn’t Lopez’s only great coaching moment this week. In an “interview” with her alter ego “J-Lo” on Instagram, the star played two versions of herself in one interview – comparing their Coach bags, naturally. Lopez wore a studded Rogue satchel with a trench coat and skirt, while ‘J-Lo’ wore a shearling-trimmed jacket and monogram baseball cap with the label’s white leather Tabby shoulder bag.

“I think it’s my airtime,” Lopez said to her alter ego. “She’s always like that!” By the end of the video, however, the two form and make plans for lunch — just like one.

For footwear, Lopez regularly wears lace-up sandals and platform pumps from Femme LA, Christian Louboutin and more top brands on the red carpet. After get off work, the World of Dance jury paired her look with platform sneakers from Slick Woods x The Kooples and René Caovilla, as well as top sports brands Reebok, Adidas and Nike.
