Olivia Wilde takes a bold step in a new editorial for The Interview magazine ahead of the premiere of her upcoming drama “Don’t Worry, Darling” at the Venice Film Festival.
Designed by Harry Lambert – who is also the stylist for her boyfriend Harry Styles – Wilde poses in a series of retro-inspired ensembles. One of the outfits featured a sheer Miu Miu dress, bra and shorts embellished with sparkling crystals, paired with navy Miu Miu socks under silver Giuseppe Zanotti platform pumps. Another highlight was a white Richard Quinn ruffled top with built-in gloves, and legging-like high-heeled boot pants with a blue rose print.

However, Wilde’s ensembles also turned to Surrealism. One photo found her standing in the bathtub in a swirl-print Gucci gown. The other two — a purple orchid-print Carolina Herrera dress and Richard Quinn latex hat, and a Schiaparelli tunic with Lambert’s own hot pants and a dove-shaped JW Anderson clutch — she wore a solid black bodysuit Buckle up on Valentino’s sky-high pointed-toe platform heels.
Rounding out the round is a round Kristin Son ribbon headpiece, a metallic Emil Dirnbach dress, a red JW Anderson top and trousers with crystal-topped Gianvito Rossi pumps, and a Balenciaga high-heeled jumpsuit and fur coat.

Talking with Maggie Gyllenhaal in the accompanying article, Wilde discusses a variety of topics, including working with Styles and Florence Pugh, feminism, and the transition from acting to directing — and even doing both at the same time.
“It’s out of necessity. We’re basically out of money and I need someone with a low salary, but I want it to be someone who understands the role,” Wilde said. “It’s gone offline and our casting directors are like, ‘Olivia, why don’t you do this? Funny thing is, when I asked my director friends what that experience would be like, I happened to be asking a bunch of people , they all said, ‘Oh, that’s great.'”
