Georgina Rodriguez graced the red carpet premiere of “Tar” in a custom Genny gown during the 79th Venice Film Festival.
Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo’s 28-year-old fiancée wore a black halterneck dress that slits down to the thigh for more flexibility and her shoes to stand out. Speaking of shoes, Rodriguez wore peep-toe sandals with an all-black suit, making the dazzling gold neckline on her dress stand out.
Rodríguez was recently announced as the face of Genny’s fall 2022 ad campaign, modeling the brand’s latest designer piece in a breathtaking concrete Spanish villa. Although this is her first major fashion campaign, Rodríguez has previously modeled for lingerie and swimwear brand Yamamay and Swiss watch and jewelry brand Chopard.
Also representing Genny on the red carpet was its creative director, Sara Cavazza. The designer wore an all-black suit from the Genny FW22 runway collection with a silver and black trim cropped top underneath. Cavazza finished the look with translucent bow-pointed heels tied in the sheen of her top.
The 79th Venice International Film Festival previews upcoming films, with the top Golden Lion award heralding predictions for the next Academy Awards. The 2022 awards ceremony, hosted by Rocio Munoz Morales, will run from August 31 to September 10, with top contenders including “Blonde,” “White Noise,” “Bones and All,” and “Don’t Worry Darling.” This year’s jury will be chaired by Julianne Moore and will be joined by Mariano Cohn, Leonardo di Costanzo, Audrey Diwan, Leila Hatami, Kazuo Ishiguro and Rodrigo Sorogoyen.
