Lili Reinhart attends the Miu Miu “Women’s Stories” event at the 79th Venice International Film Festival in Venice, Italy. Only women attended the red carpet, wearing the Italian designer label from head to toe.
Reinhart was no exception, and the star wore a 1960s Mod-inspired lilac midi dress with a low-rise, turtleneck and short sleeves. The top half of the dress is covered in pearlescent beads and iridescent sequins reminiscent of a “rainbow fish,” with each scale reflecting the flash of the camera. Crystal trim lines the sleeve hem and faux neckline as a makeshift necklace for the “Riverdale” star. The lower part of the skirt is decorated with Miu Miu’s signature small bow, and the purple fabric meets the sequins. Reinhardt’s accessories are simple, carrying a silver shoulder bag.
CoverGirl ambassadors shine in ‘Decollete’ crystal pumps with a geometric heel and delicate pearl detailing.
“Women’s Stories” is an ongoing series of short films created by Miu Miu. All female directors are free to create films, with the exception of the regulations on the use of Miu Miu costumes for films. Since 2011, Miu Miu has commissioned two films a year, one for the summer series and one for the winter series. It’s like a plot-driven fashion show, but on the big screen.
The 79th Venice International Film Festival previews upcoming films, with the top Golden Lion award heralding predictions for the next Academy Awards.
