Irina Shayk redefines the power of the little black dress at the 79th Venice International Film Festival.
The supermodel attended the premiere of “L’Immensita,” starring Penelope Cruz, wearing a black satin slip dress with an open back and a low cut. The dress has a low neckline and a short hem to add some volume to the back. This is a classic and simple dress, but at the same time noble and approachable.
Shayk redefines the power of the little black dress by showing how certain details can make it more glamorous. While it might just be another black slip dress from the front, the low-cut open back and train add a dazzling glow to the simple design. The dress, from Italian luxury brand Pinko, was a fitting choice for Shayk’s tribute to the festival’s home country.
She coordinated with black lace-up sandals to stay on topic with a head-to-toe black approach. For jewelry, Shayk paid homage to another Italian brand, Pomellato. From the brand, Shayk chose the Iconica double ring in rose gold with diamonds and three bracelets in yellow gold with diamonds.
For the sake of beauty, Shayk opted for a face with nude lips and dewy lips. On her eyes, she opted for heavy wingtips and dark eyeshadow to accentuate her green eyes.
The supermodel seems to be enjoying her time at the Venice Film Festival, as evidenced by her Instagram, which she was recently spotted at an event at Armani Beauty.
The 79th Venice International Film Festival previews upcoming films, with the top Golden Lion award heralding predictions for the next Academy Awards.
