Zooey Deschanel had a true princess moment on the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival’s “Fantasy Wild” premiere.
Deschanel wore a custom light blue satin Dolce & Gabbana gown to the event with husband Jonathan Scott. Ib Abdel Nasser’s coat style for her featured a fitted bodice and a draped skirt with knee-length slits. Completing the piece is a bustling train and single shoulder straps, as well as intricate 3D floral embellishments. Completing the “New Girl” star’s look was a diamond necklace, bracelet, ring and earrings, as well as a shimmering crystal-covered clutch.
Completing Deschanel’s outfit was a matching set of pointed-toe pumps. Her style also featured an ice blue satin upper and 4-inch stilettos. The shoes were topped with silver crystal bows on each toe, adding a fairytale touch to her outfit.
The star also took a moment to pose with her other cast members, including Beaubridges, Kathy Affleck, Jack Dylan Glazer, Walton Goggins and Noah Jupe.
The 79th Venice International Film Festival previews upcoming films, with the top Golden Lion award heralding predictions for the next Academy Awards. The 2022 awards ceremony, hosted by Rocio Munoz Morales, will take place from August 31 to September. 10. Top contenders include “Blonde,” “White Noise,” “Bone and All,” and “Don’t Worry Darling.” This year’s jury will be chaired by Julianne Moore and will be joined by Mariano Cohn, Leonardo di Costanzo, Audrey Diwan, Leila Hatami, Kazuo Ishiguro and Rodrigo Sorogoyen.
