Ryan Reynolds and ‘Stranger Things’ director Sean Levy are working on ‘Deadpool’ crossover, “It’s on the table.”
It looks like Stranger Things director Shawn Levy might just be figuring out a way to make things more interesting for Indian Hawkins.
Levy spoke with Variety’s Marc Malkin on the Emmys red carpet earlier this week and discussed the upcoming Stranger Things movie universe. “Yeah, we’re building the STCU, and right now I’m spending time with [Marvel Entertainment chief creative officer] Kevin Feige, and I’m learning a lot about how to manage the universe,” Levy said. So I’m learning those skills and applying them to STCU.”
Levy also plans to direct the upcoming third Deadpool film alongside Ryan Reynolds. When asked if there might be a crossover between the two entities, Levy gave fans a surprising answer,
- “It’s funny how [Deadpool star] Ryan [Reynolds] and I are trying to figure out how exactly we can do a Deadpool-Stranger Things crossover.
We haven’t cracked it yet, but it’s on the table. ”
The Duffer brothers are currently working on a project that will soon be part of the STCU. There is no word yet on when a potential crossover might occur.
