Warner Bros. is developing a Constantine sequel, Keanu Reeves reunites with director Francis Lawrence, and the supernatural exorcist and demonologist returns.
Warner Bros. Pictures is reportedly currently working on a sequel to Constantine. The news comes 17 years after the release of the original live-action adaptation of the DC Comics character, and has excited John Constantine fans after months of rumors.
Constantine 2 is expected to be a direct sequel to 2005’s supernatural thriller and will see the reunion of star Keanu Reeves and director Francis Lawrence. Akiva Goldsman will be in charge of the script and will produce the project with Bad Robot’s JJ Abrams and Hannah Minghella through his Weed Road Pictures imprint. Lorenzo DiBonaventura and Erwin Stoff will serve as executive producers on the Warner Bros. Pictures project.
