Stranger Things 4 has officially surpassed 1 billion hours watched. Netflix reported the news in its top 10 roundup for the week of June 27, which ranks the most popular shows within the first 28 days of airing. Stranger Things 4 reached the top 10 in 93 different countries.
Stranger Things 4 was the most-watched English-language TV show with 1.15 billion hours, beating out the new season of The Umbrella Academy, Peaky Blinders, Man Vs. bees and more.
On top of that, seasons 1, 2, and 3 of Stranger Things all surpassed 30 million hours watched in that week alone. All four seasons of the series have secured a spot in this week’s top 10.
The new stats cement Stranger Things 4 as the second-most-watched season in Netflix history, behind only 2021’s The Squid Game. Netflix reports that viewers watched 1.65 billion hours of Korean dramas in the month after it premiered.
