Eva Longoria brought a sleek and cheerful twist to traditional fall fashion this week when she was out and about.
The “Desperate Housewives” star strutted away in a scruffy black miniskirt in a new Instagram post on Monday. Longoria’s long-sleeved knitted turtleneck by Charlene E Roxborough Konsker features a frayed hem and distressed back. Completing her outfit were oversized black sunglasses and a forceful stance—plus a whimsical rainbow-striped $195 Velvet Mini Kensington tote from Kurt Geiger.

Longoria’s soft Kensington is Geiger’s latest version, adding a cheerful pop of color to her outfits; the clamshell style is available in a variety of sizes and finishes, and the rainbow-striped style is available in crystal-encrusted, puff, metal, and faux fur versions.
“Alexa plays these boots are designed for walking,” Longoria captioned her post, which received positive reviews from friends including Kerry Washington in the comments.
The “Overboard” star’s outfit was paired with a pair of chic boots from her ongoing collaboration with European retailer Eobuwie. The Longoria’s silhouette features an over-the-knee fit with a stretchy black suede upper. Stilettos with an overall height of at least 4 inches complete the pair and sharpen her outfit. A similar boot is a versatile shoe, perfect for the fall and winter months thanks to its layering ability and full coverage. However, this wasn’t Longoria’s only shoe moment in recent weeks. In August, the star wore a sexy pair of black pumps and a blazer to the Citi Taste of Tennis Event in Cipriani in New York City.
Longoria is known for its monochromatic look, especially gym sets with sneakers. The “Unplugging” star often wears matching pieces such as crop tops, sweatshirts and leggings from Alo Yoga, Girlfriend Collective, Athleta and more. The styling trick is one of the most trending styling tricks of the year, creating a streamlined outfit with pieces in the same color and print.
An avid sneaker collector, Longoria regularly shares photos and videos of her workouts at home wearing shoes from Nike, New Balance, Asics and more on social media.
