Madonna celebrated her son David Banda’s 17th birthday today with a post on Instagram. The pair said goodbye to their families, then jumped into a car and headed straight to the Harry Styles concert at Madison Square Garden in New York.
Madonna, who was wearing a baggy dress with a plaid blue long-sleeve button over a black lace bodice or bodysuit, flashed to the camera at one point. The structured style contrasts with the loose nature of her shirt. For the bottoms, Madonna wore light blue oversized gym shorts and black fingerless gloves, a common signature of “Material Girls,” and a black headband. In pursuit of a more extreme character, Madonna stacked gold and silver chains and bracelets, and decorated the ensemble with large gold hoops.
While Madonna’s shoes are not in sight, her shoe styles are often groundbreaking. A muse to designers like Christian Louboutin, the “Material Girl” singer often wears open-toed and platform pumps on the red carpet, as well as bold over-the-knee boots.
Her performance ensembles often feature booties and silhouettes that are knee-high or over-the-knee. Off work, the singer usually wears flat leather boots, as well as Nike and Puma sneakers.
As you can see from his attire, Banda is wearing a red and blue long-sleeved mesh shirt with baggy red trousers. He completed his birthday look with black sunglasses and shiny silver accessories.
Just a few days ago, Harry Styles completed his 15 performances at the historic Madison Square Garden. He opened his “Love On Tour” residency on Aug. 20, and he’s heading to Austin for five nights of dancing, singing and endless feathered boas. The Garden paid tribute to Styles during the show, raising a banner to the rafters in honor of his record 15 sold-out shows.
