Jessica Simpson is back in vibrant boho style with her Fall 2022 collection at Nordstrom this weekend.
While in Los Angeles, the FN cover star celebrated the Roller Girls in Los Angeles and met her fans at Nordstrom’s store in The Grove. Accompanied by husband Eric Johnson and their children Ace, Birdie and Maxwell, Simpson posed in her label’s step-and-repeat in a pair of extra-long black leather shorts. Her style features an elasticated waistband and curved hem for a vintage-inspired look. Simpson wore a silver and green stone buckle belt and completed her outfit with a black bodysuit and bomber jacket covered in sequined diamond shapes. Completing her ensemble are countless layers of crystal and pendant necklaces, layered bracelets, rings and large hoop earrings.
Speaking of footwear, Simpson designed herself a set of Western-style boots to complete her outfit. The star’s $179 Asire style features a black suede upper that’s knee-high with a 3.5-inch rectangular heel and slightly squared toe. However, giving the shoe a whimsical and captivating twist is the matching crystal and crystal-encrusted fringe, creating a dramatic take on the cowboy boot trend. Simpson also introduced styles in silver, gold, red, purple and blue, as well as crystal-free brown and gold options, adding versatility for her customers.
Simpson’s Fall 2022 collection includes a range of platform pumps, boots and Mary Janes in shades of black, gold and brown, blending her penchant for bohemian glamour with nostalgic trends from the ’70s and ’90s. The collection featured a selection of sequined roller skates — worn by Roller Girls at her show — with glowing wheels for a playful feel. Simpson’s signature pointed-toe pumps, slingback sandals, and booties are even better in the $69-$199 collection, with accessories like gold, silver and tan mesh, all-over crystals, slouchy uppers and round studs adding style breath.
When it comes to footwear, the “Blonde Ambition” star often wears heels, boots and sandals from her eponymous label. In addition to the namesake label, Aquazzura, Saint Laurent and Stuart Weitzman have spotted Simpson over the years in platform sandals, heels and boots. Off work, she can be seen wearing ankle boots and comfy slippers from Gucci, Sacai and Fendi.
