Following the release of The Boys season 3 finale last week, the series’ producer Eric Kripke confirmed that some of the storylines from season 3 will be coming to its “The Boys” series. Present: The first season of the Varsity spinoff, making it possible to see familiar characters. “There’s definitely going to be a crossover, and we’re doing our best to design a universe that takes some of the issues and storylines from Season 3 over to Varsity’s Season 1,” Kripke told Deadline. “It’s like there was a presidential campaign in the context of that season and some of the things that were going on in that school were a reaction to The Boys season 3. There were soldiers boys and so on and some new stories The episodes took place in that season of the spinoff, and we had to pick them up and bring them into season 4 of the show.”
The upcoming spinoff is described as “part college show, part Hunger Games — full of the boys’ heartfelt, sarcasm, and vulgarity.” Held at King’s College of Crime, the next generation of young heroes vie for stardom and the best contracts. The currently announced cast includes Patrick Schwarzenegger as Golden Boy, Jaz Sinclair as Mary Morrow, Sean Patrick Thomas as Polarity, Marco Picossi as Edison Cardoza, and more.
