Universal Pictures has released the first official trailer for the end of Halloween.
The upcoming slasher will begin with the 2021 Halloween Kills, where Jamie Lee Curtis’ original heroine Laurie Strode will continue with Michael Myers ( Michael Myers) for individual battles. The one-minute trailer shows Laurie and Michael facing off fiercely, the latter also haunting other residents of Haddonfield. It also embodies nostalgia for the beloved franchise, with scenes from older movies woven into the most recent trilogy.
The end of Halloween will mark the third and final film in the latest trilogy in the Halloween franchise, following “Halloween Killing” and 2018’s “Halloween.” They are a direct continuation of the original 1978 film, set 40 years after Laurie survived Michael’s first attack.
Joining Curtis in the film are Judy Greer as Laurie’s daughter Karen Nelson and Andi Matichak as granddaughter Alison Allyson Nelson, while James Jude Courtney reprises his role as Michael in the first two films of the new trilogy. David Gordon Green will direct, Malek Akkad, Jason Blum and Bill Block will produce, and John Carpenter, Jeanette Volturno, Couper Samuelson, Danny McBride, Green and Ryan Freimann will executive produce.
