Grailed is entering the field of women’s clothing.
The street clothing market announced on Tuesday that its expansion to the women’s clothing field is part of the “more inclusive” experience measures for their communities -this experience is “personal style rather than gender -driven”.
However, this is not the first time Grailed has been involved in women’s clothing. In October 2017, the company launched Heroine, an independent female website that had operated four years. In December 2021, Grailed announced the closure of the website and pointed out that female users on the main platform were more than Heroine.
According to Grailed, this new method will now make women’s clothing the core vertical field of the platform. Women’s clothing can now be purchased directly on Grailed.com and through the Graled iOS application instead of its own independent platform.
Grailed said that after logging in to Grailed applications and creating a account, community members can personalize their shopping information by choosing to browse women’s clothing, menswear or two in one experience. Featured brands cover luxury (Chanel, Dior, Prada, Bottega Venetta), Ganni, The Row, Tellar), street clothing (Stussy, Aime Leon Dore, Nike) and retro.
“Regardless of your style or identity, Grailed has been committed to making fashion personalized and easy to use,” Arun Gupta, CEO of Grailed, said in a statement. “Now we bring this mission to more people and hand over the future of fashion to a larger community.”
The shopping platform kicked off the women’s clothing launch with Richie Shazam, Alani Figueroa, Lindsay Vrckovnik, Amalie Gassmann and Blake Abbie.
The release was released last week that the Goat Group reached an agreement was released after the acquisition of GraILED with cash and stock transactions. According to Goat Group, the transaction needs to obtain appropriate regulatory approval and other conventional transaction conditions. Goat Group said the transaction is expected to be completed in about 45 days, and the two companies will continue to operate independently before that.
In September 2021, Grailed announced the completion of $ 60 million in Series B financing led by Goat Group. Goat Group said last week that through this acquisition, more than 50 million members in 170 countries/regions around the world.
