The Nike WMNS Air Force 1 is probably the most recognizable women’s sneaker on the market. There’s a reason every Internet list of “sneakers every girl’s wardrobe should have” includes some version of the AF1. Stylish yet comfortable and casual, the AF1 has been our go-to sneaker for 40 years. To celebrate its 40th birthday, Nike has released a vibrant and quirky version of the AF1. Titled “Our Power 1,” this iteration is “inspired by a rebellious spirit that creates new expressions.”
‘Pink nebula’ is a neon peach pink that takes center stage in the gradient details of the midsole. The upper features an exotic snakeskin overlay with a cool beige suede swoosh. Each toe cap features 20 perforations (40 in total) and features a dot swoosh to celebrate the Air Force 1’s 40th anniversary. Pink Nebula accents on the insole and tongue complete the look.
